IREPS e-Tender: How to pay the Tender Document Cost (TDC) in IREPS Tenders?

Vendor users need to pay the Tender Document Cost (TDC) for Open Tenders (Advertise Tenders) to view the complete Tender Document and to proceed further for bidding.

Logged in vendor users can search the tender through Quick Search/Advance Search or directly from their inbox folder ‘My Tenders (Not Yet Closed)’.

Click on the   ‘Submit Payment Details’ icon to go to payment TDC payment page. There are three modes of payments available Online, Manual and Exempted; the user can go through with anyone of these. 


  • Online Payment: Vendor user can pay the TDC amount online through online payment gateways using Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking in INR only. Presently users can pay the Tender Document Cost (TDC) using State Bank of India Net Banking only. TDC payment through Credit card, Debit Card and other banks net banking will be available soon. 
Good news for IREPS vendors, now they can pay the Tender Document Cost (TDC) by Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Net Banking through SBIePaySBIePay is the payment gateway which is integrated with the IREPS for online payments. 


To pay the TDC amount online through SBI NetBanking follow these steps:
    • Step I: Select the mode of payment as online and click on the submit button.

    • Step II: Select the SBI from Net Banking Payment and click on submit, it will be redirected to SBI website.
    • Step III: Enter the login credentials to log in on SBI website and proceed further to complete the payment process. After making the successful payment user redirect back to IREPS website and gets the payment receipt.
  • Manual Payment: Manual payment can be made by the vendor for TDC amount through Banker’s Cheque, Cash Receipt, DD, Pay Order, and Others. To submit the payment details vendor users need to select the instrument type and give the other details like instrument number, date etc. and click on submit button.

After successful submission of TDC details, vendor users get the receipt with transaction id and date/time for their future reference.
  • Exempted: Vendor user can select the mode of payment as exempted. Registration Certificate should be already uploaded by the vendor for exemption.

Note: For Global Tenders vendors can pay the TDC in INR or USD($) by the same process as described above. The difference will be only that there will be two option for choosing the currency INR and USD($). For more details Click Here.

  1. My Firm has NSIC Certificate and when today gone for e-tendering TDC Section only showing online option. Examption and manual payment not showing and tomorow 23.1.17 is last day of my tender.. what I will do..

Several categories of vendors like MSME firms, Firms registered with the zonal railway for the tendered item, Firms approved by RDSO/ PUs etc. for the tendered item etc. are exempt from payment of either Earnest Money or Tender Document Cost. Such bidders can claim exemption by selecting the Claim Exemption option on the payments page.

      Bidders are advised to read the tender documents carefully and satisfy themselves about their eligibility for such exemption as is being claimed, as claiming exemption wrongly may render their offer liable to be ignored.

      Please select the applicable exemption category / subcategory and then click on the Click Here link to upload the supporting document for claiming exemption. The process of uploading document and then submitting the other details is the same as explained for uploading of documents and submission of details for manual payments.

  2. Can tender cost be taken manualy if by mistake during uploading of tender it is not mentioned by the tender issuing authority. Actually TDC is shown zero.

    1. No, It cannot be taken manually by the tender issuing authority if TDC shown in tender document is zero.

      If TDC amount is zero for a tender then it means you do not need to pay the TDC for that tender.
