Error Code: ADM.005 at the time of login on IREPS Website


If you are getting Error Code: ADM.005 on IREPS website at the time login then there may be following reasons for this error:

  • You have not installed your Digital Signature Certificate in your browser.
  • You have not installed the appropriate driver for your token or installed driver corrupted.
  • System/Browser not able to read the Digital Signature Certificate from your token device.
  • Your Operating System should be updated as given below:
    • Windows XP: It should be Service Pack 3
    • Windows Vista: It should be Service Pack 2
    • Windows 7
    • Windows 8

    1. You can check these as given below:

      1. If your OS is of 32 Bit or 64 Bit the your driver also should be of 32 Bit or 64 Bit. Open you E-token properties, your certificates should be shown there. If it is not showing then uninstall the e-token driver and install it again.

      2. If your system/browser is able to read the Digital Signature Certificate then it should be shown in you browser. To check it go to Internet Options>>Content>>Certificates if your certificate shown under the Personal tab then it is OK. View your certificate, there should be no cross sign and certification path should be complete.

      Thanks for your kind gesture of helping ... but etoken is only required if i dont have digital signature installed in my laptop, DS is intalled in my laptop, in that case i think i dont have to worry about etoken, right and i have also checked certificate, it is correct, i have also checked the security settings, it is as per the guidelines, but still i am error code ADM 005 continues,very ingratiating... plz help me get out of it...

    4. Dear Rajat,

      Try one more thing, change the your system's Short Date Format to MM/dd/yy. To do this go to Control Panel>> Regional and Language Options>> Customize this Format..>> Date Tab>> Short Date>> Choose MM/dd/yy from Drop Down and apply it.

      If this one is also not working then please let me know.

      Error Code PKI.010 is related to security settings of your Internet Explorer. This error comes when security settings of your Internet Explorer is not according to settings given on IREPS website.

      To resolve this problem change the security settings of your Internet Explorer as given on IREPS website, to do this go to Tools>> Internet Options>> Security>> Custom Level and make the appropriate changes.

      It will be better if you run the IE10 in compatibility mode, to do this press the open IE and press F12, click on Browser Mode and select the Internet Explorer 9 or Internet Explorer 8 and you will be able to work successfully on ireps.

      Open IE and go to menu bar click on Tools>>Internet Options>>Advanced Tab and click on Reset button to reset the IE settings. After resetting the IE settings make the IE setting as per settings given on ireps website and try again.

      Do you want to register as a new vendor user or you already registered and want to change your DSC?

      If you want to register your self as a new vendor user on IREPS website then please click on the 'New Vendor Vendor' link available on IREPS home page or use the link given below and register your self.

      If you are already registered on IREPS website and want to change your old DSC with new one then please follow the steps given below:

      First import the public key of your new digital signature certificate to the 'Other People' in your browser. Now follow these steps:
      1. Login into your account.
      2. Click on 'View/Edit My Profile' link available in right navigation on user's home page.
      3. Click on 'Edit' button.
      4. Check the check box available next to 'Change Certificate'
      5. Now select the public key of new certificate from first pop-up
      6. and after that sect the old certificate to sign from second pop-up.
      7. If you got the message for successful updation then your certificate change successfully.
      Now work with your new Digital Signature Certificate.

    I am using Win 7 64-bit. I have installed the following token driver from the IREPS website - PKIClient-x64-5.1-SP1. I am able to see my token in the browser IE8. I have changed the browser security settings as per the IREPS website. When I click on the button - 'Click here to see your Digital Signature Certificate', the popup shows my certificate correctly. But, when I click OK, I am getting a runtime error - 'Runtime Error. Program: This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual manner. Please contact the administrator of the program.." How can I solve this error?

    I wanted to register IREPS ,I have a class 3 DSC .when I tried to register as a new vendor applet is initialised ,asked for the DSC it was selected and then it asked for PIN ,the correct pin was entered and then it going bak and initialising the applet again .I could know that signing is ok .it is not going to registration page again it is coming back to the starting screen that is attach your DSC.Iam able to place the tenders with the same DSC on NTPC site my system is windows 8 64 bit os IE 10 please help me get out of this problem

    I cannot see my DSC in my personal tab even after following the steps correctly.
    Tools > Internet Options > Contents > Certificate > Personal > Import after selecting the file i get a successful message but the signature just does not show in personal tab.

      Automatic Prompting for ActiveX Controls ->Disable
      Binary and script behaviours ->Enable
      Download Signed ActiveX Controls ->Enable
      Download UnSigned ActiveX Controls ->Disable
      Initialize and Script Activex controls not marked as safe ->Enable
      Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins ->Enable
      Script Activex controls marked safe for scripting ->Enable
      Allow Scriptlets ->Enable

      Downloads
      Include local directory path while uploading files to a server ->Enable

      For internet explorer 8 & 9::
      ActiveX controls
      Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt ->Enable
      Allow Scriptlets ->Enable
      Allow prompting for ActiveX controls ->Enable
      Binary and script behaviours ->Enable
      Display video and animation on a webpage that does not use external media player ->Disable
      Download signed ActiveX controls(not secure) ->Enable
      Download UnSigned ActiveX Controls ->Disable
      Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting(not secured) ->Enable
      Only allow approved domains to use ActiveX without prompt ->Enable

      2. Check regional settings:
      go to Control panel->Regional and language option
      click on customize button
      select date Tab
      In short date format select "MM/dd/yyyy"
      click on apply and ok

      3. Re-install your digital signature certificate driver.

      You will be able to resolve your issue, if not then revert.

    1. If your system is showing that certificate expired then please check your system date/time. Try after changing the date format of your system to mm/dd/yyyy.
